TK- IMPORTANT – TURKISH AIRLINES – WAIVER – DUE TO EARTHQUAKE IN TURKIYE – Revision 02 (POS-CA)

Due to a devastating earthquake that has affected region and the airports in Turkiye for  passengers who bought their tickets on/before February 28, 2023 and booked on Turkish Airlines’ international flights to/from affected airports only: EZS, SFQ, DIY, ADA, ASR, ADF, HTY, KCM, MLX & GZT  between February 6, 2023 – May 31, 2023 may change their reservations until May 31, 2023 (included) as follows;

• Rebooking: Permitted without any charges in the same cabin regardless of original booking class for travel on TK operated flights provided, that new flight is on/before May 31, 2023. Interline tickets (Codeshare/SPA) issued on TK (235) stock can be changed without penalties in the same cabin and fare class. If same fare class is not available fare difference must be applied. If new flights are booked on TK/AJ operated flights, then permitted without any charges and fare difference in the same cabin provided that new flight is on/before May 31, 2023.
• Rerouting: Permitted without any charges in the same IATA region provided, that new flight is on/before May 31, 2023. Interline tickets (Codeshare/SPA) issued on TK (235) stock can be changed without penalties in the same cabin and fare class. If same fare class is not available fare difference must be applied. If new flights are booked on TK/AJ operated flights, then permitted without any charges May fare difference in the same cabin provided that new flight is on/before May 31, 2023
• Refund: Unused Tickets: Permitted without any penalty until May 31, 2023. Including interline tickets issued on TK stock (235) where TK is the marketing carrier.

Partially Used Tickets: Permitted as INVOL until May 31, 2023 Including interline tickets issued on TK stock (235) where TK is the marketing carrier.

• Extension of Validity: Tickets may be extended until May 31, 2023 without any charge. Extension beyond this date are subject to original fare rules.
• Waiver:  To avoid any debit memos, reissued/refunded tickets must contain the following waiver code ISTCHTK79050/06MAR23
• All transactions covered by this waiver must be completed on/before May 31, 2023. This waiver can be applied only once. Additional changes can be done as per original fare rules only.
• This waiver applies to flights that are NOT cancelled. For cancelled flights you may proceed as per TK INVOL procedures.
