South African Airways (SAA) is aware of the planned national shutdown and protest action on 20 March 2023.
We understand that the upcoming protest action planned for 20 March 2023 may cause disruptions to our passengers’ travel plans. However, at this time, our flight schedule remains unchanged. We are closely monitoring the situation to minimise any potential disruptions.
The safety and well-being of our customers are of utmost importance to us, and we are taking all necessary measures to minimise any potential disruptions. We will do our utmost to keep you informed of any changes to our flight schedule.
To assist our passengers, South African Airways has implemented measures to accommodate those who choose to change their travel plans to avoid potential disruptions on 20 March 2023.
We will allow one (1) free change on SAA-operated flights for travel on 20 March 2023. Please endorse the ticket with “Protest Action 20Mar23” and re-issue accordingly; collect any applicable new fare and taxes to avoid your customer being a no-show.
