To prioritize the safety and well-being of our underage clients, as of tomorrow, February 15, 2024, any sales made to minors 14 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a parent or duly authorized responsible adult. Applies to AVH domestic/international flights.
Clients over 15 years of age may travel alone. Parents must make sure to fill out the respective exit/entry permits according to the country’s regulations. Avianca is not responsible for documentation problems or denial of travel by the authorities.
Note: Clients under 14 years of age who purchased their tickets before this measure (before 14FEB24) will be able to board. For the issuance of the check-in the system will not allow the generation of the boarding pass for children under 14 years old traveling alone, an alert message will be generated for the passenger to go to the counter, where he/she will be given the corresponding information and boarding will be allowed.
