Health Insurance Mandatory for Visitors in Qatar
Visitors must be covered by health insurance during their stay in Qatar, starting from Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
As it stands all visitors will have to buy the newly implemented health insurance (QAR 50 – $14) to be allowed to enter the State of Qatar, including transit cruise pax. Insurance can be bought online or on arrival at Hamad International Airport or at the Doha Cruise terminal. However, to avoid long waiting times to buy the required insurance on arrival we advise all visitors to buy the insurance in advance online.
Resuming Flights to Beijing, China
Qatar Airways will resume flights to Beijing (PKX) starting March 26, 2023*. Beijing will now be served from the new airport PKX -Beijing Daxing International Airport.
