SSR and service payment in Galileo GDS
We inform you that for Travel Agents with Galileo GDS, there are new codes for requesting certain services.
Below are the services that can now be paid for by EMD directly in the GDS, as well as the new codes identified in blue.
- Pre-seat;
- FAST – Fast Track
- LOUG – Lounge;
- AOXY – Oxygen;
- UMNR – Unaccompanied children;
- ABAG – First Excess Bag (up to 48 hours before travel);
- BBAG – Second Excess Bag (up to 48 hours before travel);
- CBAG – Third Excess Bag (up to 48 hours before travel);
- BODY – Bodyboard;
- SURF – Surfboard;
- LONG – Longboard;
- GOLF – Golf Equipment;
- SCUB – Scuba Diving equipment;
- FISH – Fishing Equipment;
- MUSS – Musical instrument Up to 23 Kg;
- MUSM – Musical instrument 23 Kg to 32 Kg;
- MUSL – Musical instrument 33 Kg to 45 Kg.
Important Notes:
- In Amadeus, it is still possible to issue EMD for the following services: UMNR, Fast Track, Lounge, Pre seat, and Oxygen;
- All services can be paid for at Web Check-in (except for pre-paid extra baggage);
- If the services have not been paid for, the passenger will not be able to print the boarding pass at Web Check-in;
- For Interline/Code-Share flights, we will keep the existing procedures for charging excess baggage, i.e., it will only be available at the airport;
- The new SSRs are only used on flights operated S4/SP;
- Pre-paid extra baggage for (the fares) SATA Air Açores is only available through the Call Center (+351 296 209 720);
